Don't let the 5 stars fool you. Delta designed this base with a lowered lip. Water is channeled under any door and standard seal right through the lower section and onto the floor. Check reviews for similar complaints. Now after a 1500.00 tile job and a 400.00 door I will need to come with tacky band aids like silicon strips and caulk. Delta has a standard reply that offers no solution. At this point you would think they would have designed an adapter for the base. Seek another brand

This is a good-looking shower base which would be perfect if they made it with thicker plastic. The flimsy lip is 1/16" thick, and the part where you want the plastic to be thicker, the corners, the plastic is actually thinner because of the manufacturing process. This is white acrylic, which is opaque. But hold the base up to the sun, and you will see light coming through the corners! I've had two fail before installation because the corners crack if you look at them wrong. I'm sure the company knows by now how shoddy this base is, but they aren't addressing this manufacturing fail. Instead, expect your job to take much longer and be super annoying as you wait for your third replacement like I am. I already set up the drain and everything for this unit, so I can't switch horses now. It is the best looking shower base out there, and if they spent an extra nickle a unit, It would be good. As made, it is not good.

Considering that none of the big box stores or a local National Plumbing wholesaler claimed to be able to get any brand shower pan this size. It came in a reasonable amount of time and in acceptable condition for a 5 foot long package.

Finding a 36 x 36 Center-Drain Shower Base without paying a huge price is difficult to find. It was delayed in delivery for some reason and that delayed our reno in our bathroom, but when it did arrive it was in new condition and fit our ensuite shower floor perfect.

Very well made, well thought out design for ease of installation. If your floor is perfectly level, this is a snap to install. If it isn’t, mortar is necessary to level. The pan is much lighter than a few others like Kohler’s, however if installed correctly you will need not worry about cracking.
