As noted in other reviews, you have to be careful not to bend the shank when hammering in these nails. But the end result is well worth it. I used these as carpet tacks for a runner that does not have a deep enough pile to hide standard carpet tacks. Since they were going to show, I wanted something with a touch of class that would go with the geometric design of the runner, and they work perfectly.
