What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your equipment, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used for optimal performance. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge. As it builds, it will definitely become dangerous -- causing your mixer to run at high temperatures, and by then, the damage will be done. Overheating is the actual "cause of death" in most electronics.

For me this is a sound alternative to paying $130+ for the decksaver hard plastic cover. It's for studio use, so it does the job well. It's well made, quality material and fits like a well-fitting glove! Satisfied with this product.

Excellent product, thick fabric and fits like a glove. It seemed to fit weird at first until I realized the "digital deck covers" logo covers the back of the synth. Highly recommended product!

This cover fits well and is durable. The only issue is that the material on the inside of the cover is rough and abrasive... It has scratched the grey paint off the knobs of my OB-6. I think this is more a reflection of the quality of the OB-6 knobs. I'd be willing to pay more for a fleece-lined cover but no one offers this! Stardust Covers will be offering a high-quality cover for the OB-6 soon. They've been promising one for a while now.

This fits both the OB6 and P6 perfectly. I have some of the cheaper/generic ones for other synths or keyboards, but for a $3k synth you don't want to skimp. While it's pricey, it is heavy duty and feels identical to amp covers from Mesa.
