I ordered these tins in gold and also the black with gold flower mandala on the lid. Each order was a box of 12...ordered, packaged for shipping, and received at the same time. Both boxes are thin and were placed inside a plastic shipping envelope with absolutely no padding in the envelope or in the boxes themselves to protect the tins. One box was so badly damaged inside the plastic shipping envelope that some of the tins were falling out. While the tins were individually wrapped in small plastic bags inside the boxes, and so far on checking them seem to be unscratched and not dented, the packaging for shipping is less than desirable. The tins arrived okay this time but if this is how the packaging is done, unsure what shape a future order will be received in. Four stars for the tins, as I do like them, but one star subtracted for the quality of the packaging.

I had to remelt some candles. At 1st I didn't like but after the wax melted I was able to fill 5 tins with one candle. A win win situation. I did buy more.

I bought these for tea not for candles, so I can't say how well they work for that, but they're great for holding all the samples I keep impulse buying! They seal really well so I don't have to worry about freshness. The only downside is that the lids are rounded slightly instead of flat, so they don't like to stack on top of each other and end up tumbling everywhere whenever I try to remove one from the cabinet, so keep that in mind.
