In all fairness, this may have been a bad cast. Bought to remove a stuck oil pan drain plug on Onan Diesel Generator for first oil change. Bolt has a small head and long shaft, so thought this was the tool for the job. It broke immediately. Used torque wrench that was prior set to 70 lbs. Purchased this kit and it removed it first try with minimal effort.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2WCN8RG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I don't usually write product reviews but this tool impressed me. Used it to remove a 6mm stainless steel stud (head snapped off) from aluminum thermostat housing in a Yamaha outboard . Soaked the stud in penetrating oil for a few days. Tool arrived from Amazon and I had the stud out in one minute. This is a good one to have in your toolbox.

Worked great for removing the head and exhaust studs on a 75 year old CJ-2A engine block. A little heat and penetrating oil, and this tool made quick work out of things. No instructions were provided, so took a few minutes to figure things out (was my first time using such a tool), but wasn't that hard to do. Much easier than the "double nut" method I've used for the past 35+ years working on various vehicles.

Had an exhaust bolt that snapped off with just a half inch or less of shank sticking out. It was too far in for drilling and using an easy-out so tried this. It started sliding back as it got tight so I was hitting the back of the ratchet and nearly two feet of extensions with a mallet and used a blow torched to heat it with penetrant spray. It came loose and the tool is still good for reuse. As a side not this tool looked like it was used before and then cleaned up and returned but I will let that slide because it still got the job done.
