These are great to stop the rattle of chains and are much neater, BUT.... They are prone to rusting and weakening INSIDE the vinyl covering when the vinyl gets nicked (and it will). The black coating does not allow you to see that happening, whereas the clear coated cables do. If you are not a guy who 'checks' everything on the boat and trailer regularly, you WILL miss it and the cable will be about 20% of the rated strength in about a year. Otherwise, add to cart.

Don’t believe some of the people on here that don’t know how to measure. Fully stretched out they are 43 inches long each! They do the job they’re lightweight, and they stay out of the way without dragging. Second set bought for a second Trailer.

Love these, keeps your hands clean, fits on more trucks because they are longer and coiled. As long as they are rated for the correct weight for your rig, buy them. You won’t regret it!

Outstanding replacement for tandem axle wakeboard boat trailer. Heavy hooks that are shaped correctly to easily engage draw-tight hitch assembly. Good solid vinyl coating on cables, and heavy hardware on attachment end as well. Great value and quality for the money.

Started looking for a suitable replacement for my trailer's chains.Found this idea of the cable and was intrigued. Really glad I found and purchased this product! Much better than chains, for example, they don't drag on the ground or lay on the ground when you're parked.They don't rust as easily, they're coated. They move more freely AND curl themselves back up when not using.Fast shipping, great product, fair price, definitely A+ experience and would buy again if needed.
