CURT electrical connectors are designed and manufactured to give you a reliable connection every time you plug in your trailer. This 7-way RV blade connector is designed to plug into a USCAR socket and supply power for tail lights, turn signals, electric trailer brakes, a 12-volt battery, reverse lights and brake lights, as well as a ground connection. It is intended to be a replacement trailer connector, plugging into a standard USCAR socket (see application info to verify fitment with your vehicle). It features rust-free black plastic construction and comes with a spring-loaded cover to keep out dust and water. This 7-way RV blade connector is a female-end socket, specifically designed for the vehicle side of the connection.

This 7 pin hitch Curt connector replaced the OEM factory installed one. Mine was all worn out and beat up and kept disconnecting the trailer wiring, preventing travel trailer breaks from engaging while using my break controller installed on my SUV. we are good 👍. Installed and working.

If James Bond towed trailers, he’d use the Curtis 7-Way Plug. This thing is like the gadget Q forgot to mention. Need brake lights? Boom. Turn signals? Gotcha. Reverse lights? Oh, they’re lit. It’s basically the electrical equivalent of asking, “Why not do it all?”The build is solid—like it could survive a zombie apocalypse or at least my terrible parking skills. The connection? Smooth and snug. It’s like the plug and socket were meant to be, a true electrical love story.Sure, wiring it up took a moment of Googling, a smidge of cursing, and a break for snacks. But once it was in place? Flawless victory.Now my trailer and truck communicate better than most couples in rom-coms. If your towing setup doesn’t have this, what are you even doing?

I purchased this item to replace my old worn out plug in the bed of my 2018 Chevy Silverado. It was very easy to install. The holes matched perfect to the original for an OEM fit. and the plug in connector in the back matched. It look great and works just like the original. I am frequently driving off road and in various weather conditions. This plug far exceeds my expectations.

The plug is really not much different than many competitors in quality and function. Likely fine going with any of them that are similar. This one was inexpensive and a recognized name in the trailer accessory segment.There is no hardware supplied, and no dimensions for the product or suggested uses to help decide on which hardware one may require. Neither instructions nor detailed product specifications are available on the website. The consumer is left to figure out details themselves. General information is out there, but one would think that the more detailed information would be provided by Curt.Two attempts to reach customer service through methods published on the company website received absolutely zero acknowledgement.I expect the product should work well enough, and I can get it installed, not really the point. I later purchased other far more expensive hitch products from a different manufacturer due to lack of responsiveness and support from Curt. Losing sales in this manner for want of simple support requests makes one wonder.
