My son put this on for me and I'm really happy with it. It's very sturdy and he said was easy to put on with some power tools. Needed an expander to make the holes bigger, so make sure you get one unless you have a big drill bit. But other than that, good product.

Install was easy if you plan ahead. I backed my wrx on to a set of Rhino lifts and went to work. I used a sanding bit on the frame hole and had no trouble fishing the included steel washer and bolt into place. The washer has to go inside the frame, and those who have rattle issues may have installed the washer on the outside. The only thing I noticed is how heavy this hitch is. It makes a noticeable difference when driving, but it may be i am not used to it. Overall its a fine product, and doing it yourself will save you a lot of money. Plan ahead, get your tools and get er done.Update: Originally I stated I had no rattle issues. After about a month, and a uhaul rental, it started rattling. Its exactly as other reviews state. Its horrible and has changed my opinions and review.

The receiver fits perfectly. The installation is a bit challenging due to not enough room to maneuver. This is not the Curt's fault, this is how Fuji builds their cars: all compact and things are close to each other. Btw, my install was on a Impreza sedan. Sometimes, exhaust knocks against the receiver but I do not think there is anything to do with Curt.Thank you!

Fits perfect on 2018 STI. Easy to install took about 45 minutes. No rattles at all but I do have muffler deletes I got mine for 60 bucks on Amazon warehouse deals.

Installed on 2016 wrx. The install leaves about a 1/4" between the trailer hitch and muffler hanger for each muffler. This results in rattle during throttle input or when you engine break or when ever the muffler feels like moving 1/4" back and forth. To check that i hadnt missed anything I placed a few layers of electrical tape in the 1/4" gap and the rattle went away. The tape will surely fall off so im not sure what to do as the rattle is not acceptable.

I installed this item on my 2014 Subaru Impreza. I wanted a hitch so I could have a bike rack that wouldn't scratch my paint (unlike this product http://amzn.com/B000BT30S4 ) and so I wouldn't have to climb on my car for a roof rack (which is the only option provided by Subaru) Install was relatively simply. You remove your muffler and heat shield, drill a few holes then reattach. The fitment is perfect however it does create a significant rattle with the muffler during low RPMs. Enough so that my bf (who is Deaf/HOH) could hear it. With music on, it is still noticeable. But it gets the job done, I can carry my bikes without damaging my trunk.
