I got them to hold up our D&D books but they're too short and the books are too heavy for them. They're best for short small books.

Mine (at least) are well made and look good. However, they are short and unable to support any real weight. They are useless for AD&D books- which I would assume is what people buying this style would be after. Might be good for small books or very light items- like comic books. All in all, sorry I bought them, would not buy again and would not recommend.

If you're planning to use these to hold up your 5ed DnD books, forget it. You'll get about three in there and then it'll collapse. They sort of work if you prop them up with something else - but then what's the point?Despite being metal, they bend really easily.Not happy with this purchase.

Was looking for unique bookends for my growing collection of Manga, Japanese comic boooks,and everything that I found was way overpriced. I wanted something that would stand out a little bit and these are inexpensive, and really good quality. I am a VERY happy buyer, and HIGHLY recommend these.

A family friend has recently gotten my son into and my husband back into table top role-playing. They're currently campaigning starfinder as well as d&d. He has lent as well as gifted him several d&d books. While looking for some book ends for myself I stumbled upon these and found the perfect gift for my son's growing collection and as a bonus a gift for that family friend. What better way to tank him for fostering creativity than with book ends to enclose his own collection of RPG literature? These are solid, sturdy, and very attractive bookends.

Made of flimsy metal that a newborn infant could probably bend with minimal effort. Description is misleading to say the least.
