I think the 0.45mm x 120mm needles would be great for lei making, esp if you don't like the usual 12" to 14" lei needle. 0.45mm is the same thickness as a regular sewing needle, and is good for delicate flowers like pikake, plumeria, stephanotis, agapanthas; it'd be my 1st choice to start. I purchased a large pack of 0.45mm x 80mm needles from a different seller before I saw these; I think the extra length (120mm) would be even better than the ones I have. (I also have 0.55mm x 120mm needles which may be useful for thicker stemmed flowers like thick roses or soft seeds that would bend the 0.45mm needle. I also tried the 0.7 mm x 120mm but that would damage most flowers.) (To measure the width of your current needles, gather a bunch (10 is good) and lay them side by side on a clear plastic ruler and divide by the number of needles.) When I have to replenish my stock, I will try these (0.45mm x 120mm) instead!

I really like long beading needles. These can easily be used for loom work. I usually buy John James extra long beading needles size 12. Those have gotten quite expensive so I thought I would try these instead. The description doesn’t give a size. I think they’re a 10 or 11. A little bigger than the John James and also about one and half inches longer! Easy to thread. And the eye is very smooth so no snags. You could use these for size 11/0 Czech or delicas or something larger like 8/0 but you may not be able to use them for 15/0. Some 15/0 delicas would work but liquid silver does not fit over these. Still I’m quite happy with them.Oh. They don’t bend or warp either. Or peel. We’ve all bought needles that started peeling but these haven’t yet.

Exactly what I was looking to use with my bead loom. Needle is thin enough to use with Delicas yet easy to thread.

i was not expecting these to be so long, but they are just as thin as they say and work great for my seed beads. i didnt expect it bc i did not thoroughly read the description. but that is perfectly ok. they are beautiful and will come in handy for specific crafts. verrrrry good value for the money as well ty

It looks great! I haven’t used it yet, it just arrived the other day. I will be making art projects and like to have a selection of tools and materials in order to vary the looks of my art works.
