Great little tire pen easy to be accurate with easy to get the ink to come out. It stays on very well very pleased.

I can say that it works on my car tires. The mark I made has lasted and the light color is still visible. I bought it because I don't trust dealers and their tire rotation. I have had several problems with this service.

Tried other brands of pens, even tried the tire stickers but Tire Ink so far has been the best.I start by washing down the tires w strong concentrated soap like Mean Green or Simple Green, rinse and let dry thoroughly. Then I use a toothbrush dipped in acetone and scrub the lettering in different directions. See photos - Once dry I lay the tire horizontal on a rotating shop stool for ease in applying which allows me to lay the ink on heavy with minimal running, and I put on at least three (3) coats fully drying between those. I ink friend's tires as well since my system seems to work for everyone's bikes. Both yellow and green has worked for me.It takes four or five hard mx track days before it starts to scrape off but once you have a solid base of color it's easy to touch up later. If you're an enduro rider rocks and branches will probably scrape it off sooner but for mx'ers it's good.Probably the only way to get true permanent color is to have it done by the manufacturer during production using their equipment but most of us don't have that so this works great instead. I highly recommend.

Paint looks good once you get it in but it’s really difficult to put on, you have to constantly prime the tip which causes to much paint to come out at times and drip on the tire randomly. Most the time the market tip gets really dry after a few marks and you have to re-prime and re-prime. Next time I’ll just drain the paint and use a small paint brush. That would be much quicker and easier

This product for me worked very well I think it’s because some people don’t know how to do it, I’ve already bought three pens and all worked out great . What I did was dismount my tires and set them on my table so that I didn’t have any back pain. Took my time coloring the letters in and the results came out great. When pushing down on the pen I did it on a piece of card board because I used common sense that if you have to push down for the ink to come out most likely some ink will come out. Just that since I ride on sand some of the paint does come off but is still their

This pen did the trick. I’ve tried others. This one is the bomb. I ordered 3 pens for 2 motorcycle tires just to be on the safe side. I put on 3 coats and am still on my 1st pen. Now...the tires were new and they were off the bike, so I was able to lay them flat. That helps for sure, but this pen went above my expectations based on my last tire paint pen experience.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT... DO NOT PURCHASE. I purchased 2 thinking they would cover the area of 4 17 radial tires, one pen coated 2 tire one pass and then went dry, second pen didn't even last one tire and went dry. Another think I noticed is that when you shake these pens, they sound empty. Literally empty, so I'll go with that as the reason I couldn't cover more areas, but nonetheless, one coated 2 tires once, and the other not even one. Which tells me enough right there..
