They are perfectly balanced for backyard target practice. Four spikes to the set and two lengths are provided, 5 in and 8 in. These spikes are easily stored in a convenient nylon pouch.

These are too light. If you are a prepper, or something, and are considering these as an actual weapon, they could be used for stabbing, but are just too light to be of value.If you want some throwing knives for something like a dart board in your office or den, these could be ok.Still, 5 feet from a pine board it was hard to get a good stick either no-spin or half-turn.

I really like these throwing spikes. I wish they were a little more sturdy. The tip bends very easily. The Paracord is a nice touch, though needs to be reinforced so it won't unravel.
