These lights are great for underwater lighting. I've added these to the edge of my pontoon deck so when I park I can turn them on and it gives great accent lighting and also can be used to attract bait fish.

These seem like a well-manufactured COB system, but lacking one major element (for me anyway). That is the ability to use these as a 120v plug in system instead of a battery. Virtually all LED lighting strips are either 12 or 24v to begin with, but virtually all of them include a voltage transformer to be able to plug them in. I guess I didn't notice - or it didn't explain it - in the description, but I'll have to obtain and wire my own plug in transformer. I wanted to use these as a cove light in my home.

This green LED light strip is bright, waterproof, and is controllable via the remote or you can use an app on your phone. You can hardwire it into a 12V system or use the included cigarette lighter plug. I originally bought it to install in my fishing boat, but ultimately decided the green color didn’t fit the overall aesthetics, and I realized I’d need a second one, and they don’t chain together which would complicate the installation. That said, the quality is solid, and I was impressed with how bright the lights get.The strip is IP67-rated so it’s built to handle wet environments, making it ideal for boats or outdoor use. Keep in mind that the strip is only 20 feet long. Depending on how you install it (with twists and corners), you might need multiple strips, and unfortunately, you can’t attach one strip to another, which could make installation more complicated which ultimately deterred me in going through with a full installation.Final Thought: If the green color works for you, this is a good option for a bright, waterproof 12V LED light. The build quality seems good, it’s flexible and very bright. Just plan ahead if you need more than one strip, as connecting multiple pieces isn’t an option.

I ordered these lights to use on a small fishing boat. After bench testing them, I think they are going to work fine as long as I keep them above the water line. They are rated IP67 which allows submersion in water for no longer than 30 minutes at a depth no more than 3 feet. They should handle splashing above the water line without any problems, but I would exceed the 30-minute rating for submersion if I put them below the water line. I can't imagine the adhesive would last very long either.These lights are green and bright when set to 100% brightness. The controller allows full control of brightness from 100% down to about 10% brightness. At their brightest setting, the current draw from my 12-volt battery measured 4.44 amps. The current draw reduces to 50% when you set brightness to 50%, and 25% when you set brightness to 25%, and so on. The small controller box is required to hook up these lights and it requires 12-volt DC input. The little controller box gets pretty hot while in use, so it needs to be kept away from any fuel or fuel vapor.There are some settings on the controller to make the lights flash at different pulse patterns and speeds, but I plan to use these for steady lighting dimmed to my liking.I especially like the solid stream of light that is displayed from this light strip. It appears as a single solid line of light, and you can't really see the individual LED bulbs like you can on many other styles. These are brighter and require more power than the ones that use a clear plastic tube with individual LEDs spaced apart inside the tube. This strip is about 3 to 4 times brighter than typical clear tube strips with individual LEDs.I have not tried the phone app for this set because I find it easier to use the remote controller that came with the lights. If it wears out, I may switch over to the phone app.Overall, these lights are very nice looking and put out a good bright adjustable light. Very happy with them.

I didn’t get these for a boat I got them for my house. This is one of the better sets I have received over the last year. The lights are dimmable, waterproof, have a last setting memory, have auto on/off, and can be controlled by remote and App control so they have a lot of versatility. The set comes with the app wiring for connection to 12V or cigarette lighter. I ended up using a different end that I could plug directly into the wall since I am using them in my house. The lights were easily adapted to the wall plug if needed.These lights are very bright. I was very impressed by how bright they were. They will work really well in my downstairs playroom for my grand kids adding another light source. The lights are dimmable so can be set for moods or however you want. There are a lot of functions to set and connect them to timers etc. the blue light color is exactly as described and shown in the advertisement.This is a great LED light set with lots of options for indoor or outdoor. Seems to be very well made.

Wow, I knew that COB LEDs were next level bright, but these strips are next NEXT level. There is no missing them when looking in their direction. Nice, waterproof build quality all the way around.

These are amazing. They're bright, easy to install and easy to control. I absolutely recommend unrolling it and on a warm day leave them on your back porch to soften the plastic/rubber to uncoil. It made it so much easier to install Used them under the eave of our back patio and they look amazing. Love changing the color to meet mood or holiday!

The lights are very bright, there are various settings and it lights up our whole boat. The kids love the colors. It comes with a remote and that works very well as well. The adhesive stuck a lot better than anticipated. Over all great product.
