Clymer manuals are pretty good. I prefer Haynes but this one seems pretty comprehensive

Clymer stepped up their game and now print their manuals at least this one on high quality paper and the images are like a factory manual. This manual I highly recommend.

Typical of Clymers, there is enough information to get you out of most predicaments, but not enough to keep you out in the first place. The strong suit of Clymers is they photograph or sketch almost everything, so even if the text seems vague or unclear from time to time, the drawings or photo will almost always indicate where to go next. I doubt anything will ever replace the meticulousness of the old Motor Manuals (if you are old enough to remember them), but Clymers has gotten more than one shade-tree wrench out of difficulty. Where it is probably weakest is on the routine day to day stuff – troubleshooting. But overall there isn’t really another comprehensive game in town for the ZG1000 anymore, and this is a respectable one.
