So I was under the impression that these stayed active for a bit longer than just a day or so after opening. The scent of citronella is still there past one day, but honestly overall I didn’t find them super Duper effective in the first place. I think it’s a great idea, but I had more luck with other repellent on the market. I was hopeful that they would work though because I think it’s a fantastic idea especially for kids and I’m not a huge fan of smelling like insect repellent all over my body. It sounds like this really works for some people though so Perhaps it’s just me and I also live on a few acres out in a rural area so this may work better in an area not quite so mosquito heavy.
