I was able to switch out this part on my 2012 Ford Fusion. Easily fit purchased tubing. Remember to stretch out the sides so they stay in place once inserted into the hood space.

Installed on 2010 Ford Fusion. The original car part provides a fan shaped spray. This part produced a weak stream that hits low on the windshield. Disappointing.
