First off the colors on this are beautiful, and it holds quite an amount of weight between them. However, the structure isn’t very sound, and so the bookcase holder can be a little flimsy and it does need almost capacity in order for it to be effective otherwise, it can lean or cave in on itself.

It’s nice that you get four of these because I have a lot of files and books that were laid on their side and it was hard to access a file without having to sort through the files. They are sturdy enough to hold up a full size road atlas. The dividers are wide enough apart that you could use them for purses or similarly sized object. They are great for files and books. They are easier than book ends because you don’t have to readjust them if you pull out a book or two.

I've got some areas that have turned into dumping zones. That might be the actual problem. That said, and my clearly unwillingness to reform my troubling ways, these sorters have solved a few issues for me in these areas. Cleared up and cleaned up counter space, bookshelves, side tables . . . etc. I didnt appreciate how much I'd use these until I received and used them!

Decent price for these fairly light duty book and folder holders. They are all I need at my desk, and I would order them again.

These are lightweight and flexible, so don’t except the sturdiness and stability of a metal book holder. You can’t put tall or heavy things in them that will tip easily, especially without distributing the weight, because they do flex. However, they hold my notebooks very well, and they also hold 3 ring binders well (as long as you don’t have only one on the end that tends to tip). They will work well for a lot of things, especially if you have it all the way full. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. The primary reason I am not giving it 5 is because it’s so lightweight it limits some uses.

We liked these so much we ordered another set. They are perfect for keeping books upright. We used them for organizing our cookbooks on the base of a baker's rack that has metal slats in it. The flat bottom of these dividers provides a solid base for the books and the dividers prevent them from falling over on each other especially when a ham fisted guy like me grabs his favorite cookbook. They work great, the price is right and we would recommend.

I ordered these plastic dividers on a whim because I liked the colors. Now that I have them, I can see how useful they will be! I used to have an old-fashioned wire file sorter, but the spaces weren’t wide enough to hold much of anything, and small papers would always fall through the bottom. These plastic file sorters are so much better! They’re made of a good quality lightweight but sturdy plastic that’s slightly flexible and highly durable - with rounded corners, wide stable bottoms, and large sections. You can use them for a multitude of purposes around the home, in the classroom, or at the office such as: sorting mail, putting papers in order, arranging cookbooks by category, storing files that you want to keep upright, as a place to set binders on a desk or shelf, as a stand for holding small books, etc. My favorite new use for them is as a CD/DVD rack. They’re the perfect size and shape as if they were made for that! Each section holds 5 DVDs or 7 CDs. It’s a good thing these dividers come in a 4-pack! You get two of each color, light blue and light green.
