While the caps aren't bad the strings are about 8" long. Which means when you double them over to tie on the cap, the cap won't reach even the shortest lens. Will be looking for something different to attach them. Too much trouble to send back.....

Decent value, fit well and the spring latch is nice enough. Don't come off too easily or with too much difficulty, but, like, they're lens caps. You only need to notice whether they're on or off.

I’ve lost way too many of these. Happy to find something cheap that works great. And it’s definitely a plus that each cap comes with a string to attach it to something so it’s harder to misplace.

First thing I did was lose a lens cap and needed a replacement. Saw this one and gave it a try.Attaches easily and stays put on the tether. Fits the lens well and does not fall off and is not subject separating if jarred.In addition, getting multiple caps for the price is a real bargain. I have them in the jeep, in my camera bag and one at home as spares. I am very happy with the purchase and the service I got when I ordered them.

A couple weeks ago, I was shooting at a park with a Panasonic GH5 camera and a Panasonic lens that has a 58mm filter thread. When I got back to the car after the day's shooting, I couldn't find the original Panasonic lens cap. I am fastidious about my equipment, so I had to have a lens cap. I immediately searched on Amazon and found a great deal for a four-pack of these ChromLives lens caps -- I figured I could pack a spare lens cap in my various camera bags, in addition to replacing the missing lens cap.The ChromLives lens caps arrived quickly, and the 58mm version is a perfect fit for my Panasonic lenses that have 58mm filter threads. I also have a Panasonic lens with a 62mm filter thread, so I tried the ChromLives 58mm cap on this 62mm lens -- and it fit! Its fit was not as tight on the 62mm lens as it is on the 58mm lenses, but it still fits and can be used in a pinch.The overall quality of the ChromLives lens cap seems as good as the original Panasonic cap. The ChromLives cap feels solid and made from good material, and it does not feel like it's going to break in the sort of use I give my gear. Most of my lenses have 58mm filter threads, so I've now dispersed the ChromLives caps (four came in the package for a great price) to my various camera bags and carrying cases.In the photos with this review, I show the lens cap on the 58mm Panasonic lens, the back of the ChromLives lens cap, the original Panasonic (Lumix) lens cap, and the ChromLives lens cap on the Panasonic 62mm lens.BTW, I found the original Panasonic lens cap that was missing... it was in a cup holder in the car.This ChromLives lens cap looks good, feels as good as an original Panasonic lens cap, and fits the lens perfectly with a firm grip. I recommend the ChromLives 58mm lens cap.
