Decided to spend some extra on this but didn't like it. Too heavy for me! Material is heavy stretchy nylon, baggy style like trousers from the 1980's or 90's. There is a drawstring within the elastic waistband. I am 5'8" waist 40 and xl short was way too loose in the waist. I mean the elastic didn't even touch my waist, that loose!Positive thing is that I have not seen scrubs made of such nice material before. Lululemon type quality material .

Stretchy and comfortable. Waistband is perfect for movement. Best scrubs I’ve ever used for physical therapy. Tapered legs fit true to form. I’m 5”8 175 and use a medium pant regular and large top. Not baggy at all and fit like a glove.
