This Cheek Pad for Luth MBA-1, MBA-3 Stock, is the answer. Since the cheek rest itself is vertically adjustable, I bought the 1/16 inch thickness, which is quite fragile, so take extreme if you're using the 1/16" cheeck pad. The material helps reduce felt heat, and does so very well. I have four LUTH MBA-3 buttstocks on some of my long guns, and in my mind these Cheek Pads are a necessity. If you are wanting more comfort from the MBA-1&3 THIS is the solution. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

I have purchased 5 of these pads now for different rifles. They are great, the folks at East Coast Custom in New Hampshire know what they are doing. If you have questions contact them thru Amazon and you will get a prompt reply. I was looking for a pad for another rifle that I didn't see so I emailed them, heard back the same day with the info I needed and I order so more. The quality is top shelf and you can't beat the prices for such a quality piece.
