Love this bag. Super nice quality, easy to assemble. And holds up well to kicks/punches. You can fill the base to desired weight so it’s sturdy but also not overly heavy if you need to move it. Base is shaped like a tire so I filled it and then rolled it to were I wanted it. I put water in originally but poured that out for sand since I’m in Minnesota and didn’t want the water to feeze and crack the base. But overall it’s a super nice bag and seems to be holding up really well to regular use.

I'm giving this a 5 based on other stand alone heavy bags that I've used. If I'm comparing to a good hanging heavy bag I'd probably give it a 4. I'm also giving it 5 having filled it with sand instead of water. If it is filled with water there is so much more movement of the base. The movement of the water inside the base makes it kick around entirely to much when getting in a work out. With sand the movement of the base is minimal. I am 6'2" 300lbs. Been boxing about a year now and I can lay into it pretty hard before it really moves around. I also have it on a rubber mat which helps with the skidding around. If you are going to fill it with sand, do yourself a favor and spend the $20 to $25 for the 50lb bag of dried, white sandbox sand. It took me 3 hours, with a wide mouth funnel, to get 100lbs of $5 wet sand bags. I do not have the patience for that. I order white sandbox sand from Walmart had it the next afternoon and It took me all of 5 minutes to get the other 150lbs of the good white sandbox sand in.Will update if neccessary! So far after 3 workouts, I'm very happy with this.

I used to practice boxing 5 years in my 20'sI participated in an amateur competition in 3 times for fun.I would say that this stuff is able to satisfy either pro and amateur all.I weigh 89kg (196lbs) and when I do counter punch at it in a way full power but then It just little move subtlety. And tipIf you order it and cancel repeatedly as 2~3 times. They would expedite delivery. I like the height I can work on high kicks. My niece and nephew like it. Its plenty sturdy for them. Its a wave master, of course if you do penetrating thrust kicks you can tip it over, that's not what its for! Meets its purpose. I like it!!!!

I'm only writing this review because it seems like neither the reviews nor the manual do a good job of illustrating to people the difference between water and sand when it comes to filling the base. The base has a capacity of about 33 gallons. A gallon of water weighs about 8.3 lbs and a gallon of dry standard sand weighs about 13 lbs. Sand is a little more than 1.5x as heavy as water per volume. Going with sand allows you to put more weight in the base per volume. Also water, as a liquid, is going to carry force throughout the water meaning when you hit the bag it will generate waves in the water within the base. Sand on the other hand is solid and will deaden the force not allowing it to carry throughout the sand in the base nearly as much. Sand does a better job of reducing the force that acts on the base from hits the bag takes, meaning it is even less likely to slide around.I'm 6'3 220lbs and I put 250lbs of sand in this base (which is a little under 60% full) and it stands on a concrete floor so there's not a ton of friction and I can open up on this bag without it moving very much at all. The bag height is perfect for my height I would say at about 6'6 this bag may start to be a bit short for you, but everyone around or under my height will probably enjoy this size bag. If you want there to be absolutely zero movement you can grab a thin rubber mat, like what you would place under an elliptical machine, which will adhere great to most smooth surfaces (i.e. concrete, tile, hardwood, etc.) and that should solve most of your issues. If you do decide to go with sand be sure to grab a funnel at Home Depot or where ever you buy your sand at, it'll make filling the base way easier. The manual will tell you to use the bag as a lever to help you distribute the sand within the base, I'd say skip that and just replace the lid, grab the base on the side with the opening and lift with your legs to re-distribute the sand between each 50lb bag.TL;DR: Good product & if you want a more sturdy base fill it with sand instead of water, especially if you're a guy and you don't want to have to pull your punches. If you're reading these reviews and you're worried about stability don't be, disregard people who filled the base with water and have complaints about movement so long as you're comfortable filling yours with sand you will get a far better result.

So far so good as it's been a few months. It appears durable and going to last a long time. Both my son and I use it a couple times a week. It does slide a bit depending on the surface and whether or not you use water or sand- sand would be heavier. I'm using water and it sits on carpet so it does slide some. It's ok because I work around it anyway to keep from wearing out one area of the bag and that keeps it centered in the room. The cover has creased/indented in a couple areas that are typically at punch and kick level, but the foam has not softened or changed at all.I highly recommend this if you can't hang a heavy bag. It's probably the best standing bag out there. You can punch and kick hard without it tipping unless you are a giant of a person and super strong I guess. Even then I think you'd have to punch/kick push it over intentionally. I don't think it's built to last for a heavy weight's consistent power punches, but works for just about every other workout. We practice Krav Maga and it works great for all my workouts at 6 ft and 190 lbs.I gave it 4 stars overall only because I believe it's a bit overpriced. But, during these pandemic home workout times you have to pay to play. Also, after time it starts to unscrew from the base while punching and you have to stop and re-tighten. The instructions say it will lock in place, but it doesn't- at least not mine.
