So yes its does fit a flip 5 "almost" perfect ......only thing is the power and bluetooth buttons don't line up and the cutouts for the charging and power on and off light dont line up either .....I'm gonna keep it cause it fits well and snug despite that, plus it looks good on. If you want everything to line up perfectly this isn't for you ...hope this helps !

I ordered this carrying case because I carry my speaker around during the day, and I was hoping for something to protect it from damage. I wasn't as worried about having a strap, but now that I own this item, I find the strap hard to live without. It makes it easy to grab my speaker and hang it in a place where you get the best sound in the room. As a carrying tool this product is a ten out of ten.In terms of protection for the speaker, I'm not sure that the soft gummy silicone this is made out of does much to fortify the speaker's outside. It's also really minimal so most of the speaker is still exposed on the outside. None of this is meant as a critique of the product- I don't see how you could design it differently, but it's good to know that it's more of a strap addition than an item that will keep your speaker safe.Overall, this fits a JBL 6 like it's supposed to and makes it easier to carry or hang your speaker. If that's what you're looking for, you can't go wrong for the price.

I got this and thought it was so cool! Then my son said to me - “Why did you get that?” The speaker is already ruggedized and has a lanyard. He felt this was overkill. But in terms of looks, or if you need a shoulder strap, this is the one! I love it!
