I really like this case, perfect size, well built, the harder foam works great vs. soft foam. Found it funny how easy the video showed removing foam pieces, was a little difficult to remove lower foam pieces but worked with long needle nose plyers and some tweaking, overall great case for the money and a lot of different configurations. Would not work with 6" revolver, but perfect for all size semi autos.

Very sturdy, strong construction. In California, transporting firearms in a vehicle without a trunk (i.e., most SUVs, like mine) requires that they be in a locked container. This one lets me transport pistols and magazines legally in my SUV. Buy a couple of good locks to go with this and you are ready to transport without being in trouble in California (and other states, I am sure).I can even fit my 1926 S&W revolver with a 6" barrel, although that is a little close. A pistol with a barrel longer than 6" would require some creative restructuring of the inserts. Can easily hold 4 pistols and up to 12 magazines in the standard cutout areas (standard capacity mags - up to perhaps 17 double-stack or 12 single-stack).

I just got this case today, so take this at face value. I’ll update the review as necessary as I notice things over time.Pros: everything fits well, and the case isn’t overly big even with the amount of foam included. It definitely seems comparable, in terms of quality, to my Pelican-brand AR cases. The magazine foam comes in, technically, four different pieces, really giving you the ability to size the empty slot to your specific magazine.Cons: 8 of the magazine spots had some sort of moisture on their bottom halves, which I never would’ve noticed if I wasn’t using all of the spots. That could cause serious problems for someone who didn’t use those spots, and by default, didn’t realize the case was full of moisture. For now I’ve got it emptied, open, and drying out - definitely shouldn’t be necessary considering it showed up closed. So that means either the case has a hole in it (but the cardboard box wasn’t wet, so I doubt it) or the case got wet at the factory and never dried off before shipping. Also, a few of the pieces of foam in the bottom of the magazine slots were partially glued to the bottom, which ripped them when removed. This could be an issue for someone who needs to use those pieces in the future. The foam inserts are very tight-fitting, and are pretty hard to get a hold on to pull out of the slots. The most effective method I found was to use to butter knives, one on each side of the insert, and pull straight up. It’d be nice if they came from the factory with some sort of string or something integrated into the foam, or woven under the inserts (like you see under batteries).All-in-all, it seems like a good quality piece of equipment, and it definitely holds 4 pistols and 12 magazines with no issues, nice and secure. I’ll update on durability as time goes, but for now I’m happy.

This review is for the 4 pistol case, but I also have the 2 pistol case with accessories. I absolutely love both of these cases, and they are my go to range cases now. The rechargeable drying packet, and waterproof seal assure my precious cargo never gets wet, and stays dry if I were ever to store them inside for any length of time. Drier than my safe in fact. The outer shells are very, very well designed, made, and durable, and the inner foam is tough, yet easy to make modification to and keep clean. I can load up on magazines for each firearm. Everything is so well protected from the outside and from each other. You can use the extra foam pulled out to customize the muzzle pockets for different lengths to sit perfectly, or in the magazine compartments so shorter ones don't sink too low. This is pretty much the perfect solution. I wish I had found and invested in these instead of the myriad of duffel type range bags I bought before them, and fumbled with individual cases stuffed into them. One of these and an ammo can can carry literally everything you could need for a day of plinky fun in a compact, easy to carry and extremely durable manner.

Usually a picture is worth 1,000 words. However, there are times where the pictures simply do not do the subject justice, and this is one of those times. The first thing that struck me when I pulled the case from its nondescript cardboard box was its weight. This case truly is stout, but saying that almost downplays the actual construction. It is truly made to withstand the rigors of air travel, and that includes the presumable 800 pound gorillas behind the "scenes" that like to throw and jump up & down on the luggage like the old Samsonite commercials. The case's fit & finish is excellent as well. The types of foam used inside are well chosen. It all comes together to prove that the folks behind Case Club put some thought into and actually use their own products. My only marginal complaint is the precut magazine cutouts. I missed this in the photo, but I caught onto the design as soon as the case was in my hands. Each of the magazine cutouts has a "donut" cutout. This can be removed to make the cutout more easily fit a double-stack magazine. Unfortunately, the foam is thin enough that slipping a single-stack magazine into them can result in the magazine pushing that "donut" down into the magazine cutout. I think that a better solution may be to have the inner insert cut as a thick-bottomed U instead of a donut. This would probably lend it enough additional strength that it would not collapse into the hole whenever an edge is caught inserting a magazine. This has truly become my favorite pistol case.
