I am a avid smoker, but I hate cigarette smoke, and more than that, I despise have ashes everywhere in my home or in my car. This helps so much! It is so stylish, and so compact, it is a perfect fit for the cup holder, and really helps with keeping the "ash tray" smell down.

I have a long commute to work. I am a smoker, but I dont like all of my stuff smelling like cigarettes. I like to drive with my windows open. With my old car, ashtray ashes would fly everywhere and make a mess of the crevices in my vehicle. I purchased a few outdoor covered ashtrays for my yard and loved them. I decided to get this smaller cup holder size version. I like that the ashes go into a small hole and don't blow out. The cover is a great feature because not only does it smother the smoke in, but it keeps the smell contained. Your car will still smell like cigarettes, but this makes a noticeable difference. It is all metal and very durable. The top peice does come off of the cup and makes it very easy to clean. If you smoke in your vehicle, give this a try.

Love this very inexpensive portable container that keeps ashes and cigarette butts contained neatly in our car. Older vehicles like ours always have a built-in pull-out ashtray. I don’t think new ones do unless you special order that feature. I don’t smoke, but my husband does, and as neat as he tries to be, we seem to always have ashes scattered everywhere and a yucky overflowing ashtray that is a hassle to take out, dump, and clean. This marvelous portable ashtray is just right. Set it in one of the drink holder spaces, and it’s ready to use. Take it out, empty and wash it, put it back in the car every trip it’s been used. I’m buying another one for his truck.
