Love these stakes. I am currently at a beach in South Carolina where the wind blows like crazy. The tent posts that came with the tent pulled out at the first wind storm. I was reluctant to the buy these as they seem so cheap and looked like they would pull out easily (after all, I am putting these tents into sand) after reading the reviews i decided to buy them. I am so glad I did. They were so easy to use, they are easy to remove and the value is incredible. They anchor great and I’ve never had a steak pull out. I don’t know whether you would call them thick, but you don’t want them to be bigger than they are. And they are thicker than they need be and the length is perfect. These pictures were taken at dark, but I think you can see them. I put the first one through the mat into the sand, and the rest are directly in the sand

These are high quality hard plastic. Our yard has several 100+ year old Oaks, and the amount of Fall leaves are like a blanket across the lawn at times. We have 2 dogs and needless to say, we have a hard time finding their droppings at pick up time as it can sometimes be covered within minutes! So, we started marking their waste as they go potties so we know where to find it at pick up time and where we can step/walk in the yard! LOL The orange stakes do fade over time, and a few have split from being outside in various weather conditions, so I do replace occasionally as needed. But for us they will last more than a year at the very least.

We used these stakes while camping on Assateague Island. For the most part, they did a good job but on the morning we were leaving, we were awoken to the back of our tent flying up. Wind gusts were around 12-15 mph and these stakes couldn't handle that. Compared to the wider, angled metal stakes that we were also using, these plastic ones were not as good. If you're going somewhere without much wind, you'll be fine using these but I personally wouldn't buy more.

Las compré para la Sportbrella XL y funcionaron excelente, muy fácil de colocar y no se movieron para nada, aún con cuerda y aire.

These stakes worked great at the beach! I staked my Canopy in regular sand at the beach and even with the wind, it never moved. These are great quality. Strong plastic and they went deep into the sand, great length. They were easy to put in and easy to take out. Love the bright orange color so I didn't miss any when breaking down the Canopy. Great product!

J'ai utilisé ces crochets pour une tente de plage à Cuba et c'est parfait. Les crochets sont en plastiques rigides et sont assez long pour bien tenir même quand il y avait des journées avec beaucoup de vent.

These stakes were very good quality and heavy duty but I was intending to use them to hold down a tarp on a windy beach. Unfortunately the stakes did not fit the tarp holes so I couldn’t use them. It would be great if they had a smaller diameter for this purpose.

El materia es fuerte y de buen tamaño, una buena practica es excavar 15 centimetros antes de colocarla para tener resistencia, de lo contrario colocándola de forma normal no servirán.

There are better quality screw in pegs... but they come at a much higher price tag. So if you can get by using the cheaper ones great. They wear pretty fast when going in hard dirt and rocky areas . Best used in sand... IF you dig down to the hard pact sand then screw in. I turned a socket into a tool that fits over the tent stakes and put that on my cordless impact gun. works great cause who has time fighting hard mother earth.
