The product is great, does exactly what it is supposed to do. Works for smaller ceiling lights, which is great. The only issue is that both of them arrived damaged.

These are made of an odd stiff foam and seemed a little delicate, but they were tuff enough for the install, flexed a little to match slightly uneven ceiling and took paint well.

The rim of these medallions is much thicker than could work on all but one of my lighting installs. I still couldn't use it on that one because it wouldn't stay adhered to the ceiling even using heavy duty adhesive. I now have a mark from the adhesive on the ceiling I have to sand down and repaint. I can't return these because I'd already painted them and one has adhesive marks on it from trying to use it. Gong to donate to a Habitat for Humanity in hopes someone else has more luck.

Replaced recessed can lights with fans, retrofit in-ceiling fan mounts, with these medallions as goof rings to cover the old light cutouts. They’re 3/8” thick so nylon spacers were needed in order to mount securely without too much pressure on the medallion. Painted them the day prior with dark bronze hammered spray paint to match the fans and ended up looking great.

Not an easy size to find in a simple, elegant profile. We didn't want anything fancy. This looks great--just right.

I had to install a junction box in the ceiling and these covered the hole perfectly without being to big. They were light weigh, good looking and great quality (not a plastic mold). I painted them with two coats before I installed them with liquid nail and they look great.
