The are the best roaster I can find. I love that the handles are coated. They are long and sturdy. This is the second set that I've owned and everyone's favorite!

Great for marshmallows, but less so for hotdogs. With a hotdog there is substantial bending of the product, and any motion sends it bouncing around, in my case, bumping into the logs below, hope you like an ashy dog. It's very hard with a heavy item on the end to make any motion whatsoever, such as switching hands or trying to get a little closer to the heat, without having a big bounce.It's not impossible to use for hot dogs, but don't expect it to be super easy or well under control. If I was to buy another similar product, I'd look for something more rigid with slightly thicker metal, or shorter.To tell you the truth, shorter might have been nicer in any case as these don't store easily in our typical camp box. They are longer than the package for our tent. We store all of our camp stuff in one of those super large Tupperware (18 gallon) and you cannot fit these diagonally in the box. I didn't let this impact my rating here, because it's clear that these are intended to be extra long, but here is the thing, if your camp fire smoke is facing towards you, you are going to get smoke in the face. If you are not downwind, it won't matter, so the benefit of this product is pretty limited to windless days and the benefit of one extra foot or so- and there are two downsides to the sticks being this long. Quite frankly I wish I'd made another choice, but not enough to spend money on a different product, so "it's OK" seemed to be the right answer.I will say, if you are getting tiny oscar myer type dogs you may fare a little better, but with a grown-up hotdog, they are simply too heavy for this product to work in an ideal fashion. The ones we had were bun length all beef, but wasn't even the super thick type. (Nathans, standard not jumbo)

These are great fire roasting sticks, very long handle which is great with toddlers, handles have a plastic type grip, four colors for color coding with my kids, they love having their own colors. These are the best price and quality I've found. The two prongs are pretty close together, so you can't roast two marshmallows side by side.

Perfect for our camping trip, was able to let our preschoolers help roast their own marshmallows and felt these kept them at a safe distance from the fire. Loved the different colors. We washed them right away (or put them in a bucket to soak overnight) and they were easy enough to clean.

I bought these roasting forks for a cub scout camp out. They were used by adults and kids aged 4-12.My first impression of these was a good one. I liked that they were long enough to keep the kids safe from the fire. I liked the silicone covered handles to prevent the handles from getting hot.The kids liked using these. All the other roasting forks people had brought were short or didn't have a handle.Having longer roasting sticks was nice because you could sit at a comfortable distance from the fire and still be able to roast your food. However, the longer sticks meant you had to really watch the kids when they were done roasting because they would swing the hot sticks around and there was more coverage to hit others.After the first night though one of the sticks had the handle covering start to peel. I am not sure exactly how this happened. It didn't look melted, just cracked.Overall I am happy with these! We have a family of 6 so we will get great use out of these away from scouting.

When it arrived in a 3ft. long box, I thought it was weird. Opened it up to find that these don't collapse, telescope or fold, they are always their full length. When I tried to pull it out of the box, which had no packing in it, I poked my finger. Pulled it out and noticed immediately that one of the forks had peeling paint. If I wanted to eat paint in my marshmallows, I could just use coat hangers, for free. So I returned this product.

I looked at practically every available roasting fork set on Amazon before buying these, and they did not disappoint! Perfect length for roasting marshmallows around an average size fire pit. Many sets are just 22 inches long, and the additional length on this set really helps. The ends are pliable to allow you to fit 2 jumbo marshmallows. They are easy to clean, too. A couple did blacken a bit when people intentionally set their marshmallows on fire (seriously, who does that?), but they scrubbed up just fine.
