These seem to be very heavy duty. They cut great, and I'm guessing that they will for a long time. I oiled the spring and all the moving parts and they move smoothly, and easily now. A nice tool to have in my bicycle tool box for cable and housing replacement or repair. You cant beat the price...I recommend this tool for all the weekend warriors out there...This tool is likely not for daily use at a professional level, but It suits all my needs and gets the job done.

These work pretty good, I had to work them back and forth a little when I got them because they're a little stiff. For the price it's worth the trouble.

Items said it would cut 2/0 wire. I had to put all my weight on one handle while the other handle was on a table to get it to cut 2/0 copper wire. It works as described for smaller wire. I wouldn't use this with anything thicker than 8 or maybe 6 gage wire.
