This is very perfect for dachshunds because of their large chest. Highly recommend you measure very carefully before you purchase it. I did buy two different size one up and one down just to see what worked

My Dog can get the harness in her mouth while she is wearing it, and chew. She destroyed it in two months

I was so glad to find this brand, I tried many harnesses before I found this one, my pup had to use kitten harnesses at first because she was so tiny, none of which fit her properly. I didn't like her in my purse with just a collar in case she tried to jump out, she could be strangled. I have a 5lb papillon and the size 2.5 fits. She outgrew size 2 at age 1. She can still wear it but it rubs, the 2.5 is very comfortable for her. It doesn't choke her at all. It's not as bulky as other harness we've tried. It's the only suitable harness for teacup dogs in my opinion. The leather is very durable and doesn't show wear even after a year of daily use. The harness and hardware are very sturdy, she's hung by it for a few seconds when she's tried to jump out of my purse (very comfortably I might add) it keeps her safe but she can run fast and free while using it. It does have a bit of a smell (like old leather) when you first get it but it fades in under a week.

Fits my toy poodle perfectly. Not choking her in anyway and she looks comfortable. Gonna probably buy more for her in a different color.

Had a Buddy Belt for 5 years and decided she "deserved" a new one after all that time. This one fits perfectly, she wears is all the time, expect when she gets a bath, then she wants is back on right away! Will not buy any other kind for our dogs.

It works really well, my puppy has a collapsible trachea and can’t use a regular collar. The bone tag doesn’t stay on well, I highly recommend taking it off, because I found my dogs chewing on it, it can be a choking hazard for them or small kids.
