Installed this in my jetted tub in the master. Fit great. Sealed up well. Getting the old one out was a PITA but thats not this products fault. Make sure you have some plumbers putty and a good drain wrench and it’s an easy job.

No issues... Yet. I'm interested to see how it holds up over time. I have a black Kohler sink popup and in less than 6 months the paint has chipped off. (All black accessories are just painted...).Hopefully this lasts longer. Looks good and installs like any other tub drain would. Happy with purchase

I chose to install these drains in both bathroom vanity sinks of in my two-sided duplex. The pop-up drain is attractive, effective and easy to use. It's much easier to install compared a drain opener/closer that has a "stick" that runs down from the faucet under the sink. That type is very hard to adjust from under the sink in a cramped, small vanity and has a tendency to come apart over time. These were my choice because of the feature of the removable hair trap. I just paid over $400 to a plumber who struggled several hours to clear a hair blockage in the drain between the two vanities. I hope to avoid hair blocks and the use of damaging drain cleaners, in the future.

Purchased 8/26/24 today is 12/29/24 and the color is peeling right off. I'll have to replace it already since the rest of my fixtures are gold in color, which means paying a plumber again. Yay me.

The quality is excellent, however as some others pointed out, installation was tricky and took longer than expected – and, I consider myself to be pretty handy.Challenges:1. The box contents include a rubber gasket and the instructions show a diagram which places the gasket underneath the flange, but above the tub surface. The written instructions, however, say to place plumber's putty under the flange – and no mention of the gasket. It turns out that the gasket is actually intended for placement just BELOW the tub's surface. And since "Hayden" pointed out in their review that the gasket doesn't fit as it should, I simply reused the rubber gasket that was already in my tub.2. Had to buy plumber's putty. Also, be sure to wrap threads with plumber's/teflon tape (another purchase).3. Another reviewer pointed out that the package contents do not include an overflow gasket; and in fact, I ended up having to buy one, because the existing gasket in my tub was completely shot, unbeknownst to me.4. I ended up having to buy a drain wrench, strictly because I was unable to tighten the flange enough with my hands for it to prevent water from leaking out of the tub. Perhaps a drain wrench is a standard item that would be needed to install any model of bathtub drain, but I didn't previously own one.

This drain kit is well constructed, except for the hair catcher. All metal construction is a huge plus, it feels solid and doesn't have that cheap plastic like feeling. The hair catcher slides onto a rod, at the bottom of the "lift" portion of the drain. When I unscrewed the lift portion, a small jiggle caused the hair catcher to slide off. Although I did not install this kit, I suspect that any weight on the hair catch would cause it to slide off and keep it lodged inside of the drain. The hair catcher did not seem secure at all.
