Excelent accessory for any fire pit. It's strong, just the right length, and miraculously... doesn't get hot (due to the metal used). While the end of the poker seems small, I haven't had issues "hooking" logs and moving them.

Suitable as a fire pit poker or as something medieval to repel unwanted guests at your fireplace. It has a little heft behind it. The design of the handle will help prevent/minimize heat transfer.
