It’s a handy tool to have. However, the snap ring that hold the one side in broke after a few uses and now it just sits in my box.

I highly recommend this tool to anyone who does brake jobs. No more c-clamps to deal with. No more worrying that the c-clamp may damage the caliper trying to find a good spot to clamp.Very good quality and works perfect. The hooks provided are nice to have to hold the caliper out of the way when working too. Wish I would have had this tool years ago. A must have as far as I am concerned.

It’s well made reversible and has two different sixes tho the magnets on the larger plates don’t really work well and like other disc spreaders I have it’ll likely have to be ground down to fit properly as the plates are so thick that aside from driving the piston’s all the way into the calipers to install new pad and nothing else they’re not going to be able to get the pads away from the disc enough to remove the calipers so they don’t save you from having to pry against rotors they don’t have a way to grab the inside edge of the pistons for removal and so they’re a very limited tool for servicing brake pads alone and not really helping protect the rotors in the process but they do have their place they do that one job well as long as you understand what you’re getting and their limitations you won’t be disappointed

This is a must have if you are doing your own brakes. It is easy to use and it comes with extra plates that are wider to do dual piston calipers. the s hooks are a nice touch and make changing brakes much easier.

huh, I could have sworn I took pictures of it but, ah well. Maybe I'll update it later. I have nothing negative to report. The tool is of a higher quality build than I expected. I am eager to try it out and hate not trying things before reviewing, but I thought I can at least give my praise for it's build quality now, update later if it disappoints. It earns that 4/5 every bit for now.
