The welds between the handle and the trough broke the first time I used it. I was not even putting any pressure on it. I don't recommend buying this brand.

This tool is simply made but of good enough quality to last a few jobs. I cut one of the surfaces to 3/4” width to fit a specific style corner getting EIFS finish. Then cleaned up the tool and threw it in the toolbox for next time.

Handle is bent and loose. The actual trowel blade is so rough and jagged that it’s currently unusable until the edges are ground down and filed. I realize all new trowels need to be broken in, however, this is absurd. Also, this isn’t the first or second time that I’ve purchased a “Bon” tool that has been unacceptable in quality standards! I will not ever make this mistake again, and I hope this review will help others avoid making the same mistake! Do not waste your money on Bon Tools! This is an honest, unpaid-for, real review by a professional tradesperson/artisan, with over 25 years of hands-on experience.
