About this item

 • FREE YOUR HANDS - You're now able to multi-task while being active with your dog. Talk on your phone, carry a drink, or both. Our leash gives you total freedom and allows free arm swing for optimal performance while exercising with your dog. Physical Therapist Recommended!
 • NEOPRENE PADDED HANDLES - Unlike other Hands Free Leashes, our leash has dual handles that are layered with an ultra-soft yet durable neoprene padding. The leash can easily be detached from the belt and used like a standard leash with a short traffic handle as a bonus.
 • ADJUSTABLE LENGTH - Our leash is adjustable in length from 4.5' - 5' and is the perfect length for walking, running, or hiking with your dog. This feature allows your pup to easily walk in front, beside, or behind you without stepping on each other’s heels. The adjustable length also allows for better control of your dog while using the short traffic handle.
 • HEALTHY CHOICE - Occasionally your pup needs a little guidance to stay on track. Our dual handle bungee leash absorbs unwanted shock and reduces joint & muscle strain on both you and your dog. Our HandsFree Leash can prevent acute injury caused by sudden jerking and is recommended by Physical Therapists & Veterinarians across the U.S.
 • PARENT FRIENDLY – Pushing a baby stroller and walking your dog can be challenging. Our hands free leash was designed with moms & dads in mind. “Baxter” can now easily walk beside the stroller and be a part of the family that he loves. Try it TODAY RISK-FREE - Click Add to Cart NOW!

First of all I did like this set. The leash and belt were both super durable and comfortable well pulling still posed a problem when being handsfree a hand on the loop helped and I was super happy with it. I am however a bigger sized person and around my waist was too big I had to have it up by my ribcage in order to use it which is not safe nor comfortable however someone who doesn't have that issue would be more than satisfied with this product

I love this leash so much, the quality is amazing. I love that the leash is just a little longer than the standard and I like the 2 hand loops. The shock absorption works really well, my dog pulls on occasion and walking her on icy roads is dangerous, but this makes it much safer. The little bag is flimsy and cheap, I tossed it and bought I good quality belt clip treat bag with a magnetic closure to add to it.

Treat pouch very cheaply make, so disappointing as I was expecting so much better, currently have matching collars and harnesses on order but contemplating cancelling due to quality issues with this product…. Definitely not worth the price

Poor construction of the pouch as the stitching for the belt loop fell apart after using it twice.

Had to send this back as it’s heavy and it’s long. You might need that with your dog but it’s no good for me or mine.

Overall, I love this product. After looking at hands free leashes on Amazon and multiple other sites. I could see that Black Rhino really paid attention to detail! (I paid for this product myself and no one is paying me for this review!). I liked this one because it has a small pouch where you can fit a few treats and some poop bags. You're not really gonna want to carry much more if you're truly running anyway. For the purposes of running with a big dog, I think it's great. However, I personally use this for going on long walks or hikes, not more than 4 miles, with my 21 lb dog. I'm 5 ft 4 and my husband is 5 ft 9. She has been trained to walk right by my side. If you're walking, unless your dog is far ahead of you, the leash will drag on the ground, so you end up having to hold it at the handle to keep it off the ground (defeating the whole purpose of hands-free). Even with the leash at its shortest length, it will drag (unless maybe you're over 6 ft tall). That being said, I still give it a 5 because the pouch is a perfect size, the waist belt is adjustable, and the leash is very high quality. It has one fixed D-ring and one movable D-ring which gives you the most flexibility to hook the leash as you prefer. You might wonder why you need two handles, but I found that it did come in handy. I use the one closer to me to pull her in closer or to shorten the leash. I use the one closer to the dog to hold her tightly when there are dangers lurking nearby (fast cars, other bigger dogs, etc). Having two padded handles makes this a better leash than others on the market. I would give it an even higher rating if they would offer a 3 ft leash. In the meantime, I searched extensively to find a 3 ft handsfree leash with a handle, and purchased the Mighty Paw Hands Free Dog Leash (3 ft black). It's the perfect length for me, such that the leash doesn't drag. There's only one handle and it's not padded like Black Rhino's leash and certainly the belt isn't as high quality compared to Black Rhino, but it's a good compromise.

Purchased this for a high energy and very skittish boxer mix 40lbs. Needed something that would be a bit more gentle on my joints and her neck when she fearfully reacts and takes off. The bungee of this leash combined with an Ezydog Checkmate Martingale collar allows me to be confident that she will not pull off leash or out of harness and that my arms and her neck will not get snapped. I have experienced high energy skittish dogs rescues pulling out of harness and subsequently out of a back up traditional collar that was tether connected only to run off. The build of some dogs is such that a harness can be wiggled out of and a traditional collar can be wiggled out of too. This combination of Martingale and bungee leash is great when used specifically for walks and long leash play time. The traffic handle can be adjusted a little further away than other bungee leashes. For our needs the extra distance for the traffic handle is perfect. The padded handles are comfortable and the contrasting red/ black color makes them easy to find and quickly grab when needed. I tested out the belt and pouch. The belt was just long enough when adjusted to its maximum to fit over my waist. I use 44" waist jeans presently. The belt and pouch are OK, I have not used them, but plan to use them at the shore line. The pouch seems small and the belt is somewhat thin and doesn't take into account that you may wear it over heavy coats because it seems to max out a little over 45" or so.PROS:+bungee is just right not too tense and not too loose+padded handles are comfortable+contrasting colors make handles easy to identify and quick to grab+snap rings are sturdy and function without slopiness for my 40lb dog+seams are stitched well and strudy+belt has multiple D ring options for stationary or loose moving attachment of the leash+leash has snap rings at both ends allowing it to be used with long leash setups+dries off quicklyCONS:-belt is not easily adjusted from one person to the next. It requires fussing with it for a few minutes to get it adjusted. Those little plastic slide adjustments are not quickly adjustable.-If the belt were wider strap material it would be more comfortable.-If the belt were longer, big guys and gals could wear it over heavy coats-The pouch could be bigger-Snap clips may not be sturdy enough for large strong breedsFinal thought: If your dog is not super small nor a large strong breed, and you are not extremely thin waisted or over overly big waisted - this can be a great tool for walking, running and exercising your dog. It can be used in a number of ways and in combination with other tools to improve the quality time with your pet.

This hands-off leash is a lifesaver--I have a medium sized, very determined, female pitbull named Sissy who is the sweetest girl ever except when we walk-then she turns into a pulling machine, a tornado of stubbornness and a heavyweight champ who can go the distance. I am a tall, strong woman and she can pull me off my feet when she wants and she only weighs 40lbs. I tried every kind of leash but then did my research and purchased the Black Rhino hands off leash--and now walks are fun again! The best features are the two handles that I can use to gently steer her off people's lawns, in the right direction, etc. The leash also toggles from side to side on the belt which is great since she likes to make abrupt lane changes, haha. I'd also like to mention that I am on the larger size and the belt fits my waist which I obviously appreciate. The leash is super sturdy, really cute (I got the pink and black one) and comes with a small pouch for doggie bags, phone, treats, etc. The leash is comfortable for Sissy, doesn't rub or hurt her in any way and has really calmed her down, she has stopped pulling so much knowing she is tied to me now. Next steps are working on running with her-Overall, I am incredibly thrilled with this product and highly recommend it. Basically, this leash is a Crazy Dog Lady's Best Friend!
