I've seen the exact same product go for between 100-200 dollars on performance sites.

It fits well enough, however the bracket to hold it to the strut tower brace didn’t fit at all on my e61, so I just have it ziptied and it seems to be holding well enough. It does capture quite a lot of moisture buildup when the weather is cold out which is definitely relieving to know water isn’t circulating through the motor. On the off change you haven’t seen an install video and are reading this, you have to remove the connectors from the stock PCV hose and reuse them inside of the silicone hoses in this kit for it to fit. Some people just throw away that pipe but you do actually need it.

Quality product, but comes with no instructions of any type. But here they are. 1. Remove crankcase vent hose. 2. Carefully remove the fittings from both ends. 3. Cut 5 cm off crooked end of 180 degree turn hose. This will allow the hose to extend 5 cm further away from the engine when installed. 4. Cut 9 cm off the straight hose, for length matching purposes. 5. Insert fittings into hoses and reattach to vent system, clamps not necessary. 6. Insert the catch can to other ends of hoses, clamps not necessary. The 5 cm extra length from engine should allow the catch can to rest suspended and isolated in the cavity below the driver's cabin air filter duct. There is no way to attach the catch can to the strut brace on the 535I with the length of hoses provided without intake manifold and BOV piping interference.

After getting a recalled PCV replaced by the dealership on my E90 328xi with an N52 engine, I noticed that they had broken the hose connection and ziptied it together, which made oil spray all over my engine. I purchased this catch can to hoping it would make a better connection and prevent the oil from ending up in my intake manifold. It took about 20 minutes to install and fit perfectly, fixing my connection issue and preventing oil from getting in my intake manifold, all for less money and work than replacing the oem parts.

I would give this 4.5 stars one hose is about 3 inches to long but can be easily trimmed. Aside from that install and function has been as expected

I'm recasting my review this product work perfect all you guys have to do is use the old snap fittings wheb you plug into the inlets pipe same thing wheb you connect to valve cover the hose is perfect size to fit over the fitting then onto inlet pipe some most people are fitting the silicone right over the inlet on intake pipe but the hose isn't big enough to do it in this kit so you have to remove the old fitting then snap it in on intake pipe also the screws are long enough to mount its really tight but it intends the canister to be pretty far back to make an oem look and which it does here is the pic the canister fits under the cabin air filters bracket as seen in pic

Truly horrible, you would think that installing something hardware wise would be a plug and play scenario, but this oil catch can filter proved otherwise. The hoses didnt fit perfect nor the clamps since the we're too small for the hoses themselves. The hoses we're way too short as well to the point that it's interacting with the charge pipe. Also the little table it comes with to hook it onto something to hold the catch can, can't be hooked on to anything. So for a brief recap, my oil catch can has been installed with...1) no clamps2) no hook, so the catch can is being held on with the hoses attached and the charge pipe basically squeezing it3) one hose not fully in because the charge pipe hole was too big for the hose, installed this part scared me because I had to put a lot of force in order to get the hose in half way and just gave upOh I forget I have a 2008 535xi
