I mean it’s a cheap lockbox that does what it’s supposed to. I bought it because I needed it to keep medicine in. I didn’t want to have to keep up with a key so I got the combination lock. The lock works fine. It’s say to set the three number combination to whatever you want. I wouldn’t buy this to really try to keep someone from stealing something. It would be very easy to get into. Plus, people can just carry it off lol. It’s a good little box if you just want to keep kids out of medicine or something like that. Again, don’t buy it thinking it will really protect anything from being stolen

My seven year old is using this to store "treasures" and such. It's on the smaller side but easy to open and perfect for his safe keeping needs. We've got a community yard sale coming up and plan to use this for storing the loose cash and coin. Again, the bright red color is great, no keys for kids to lose, perfect for our modest needs.For the sake of sharing our experience, I believe the box we received was mishandled during transit, as there was a noticable ding in the side, some chipped paint, the frame (along with latch mechanism) was misaligned, and as a result of the mishandling the plastic coin tray was cracked/ damaged. I can't be sure if this occured during packaging of the product or on the shipping/transit side of things. Either way, I deducted a star rating as it wasn't an entirely satisfactory end to end experience. I also ended up tossing the broken tray out and with some force was able to straighten the frame and realign the latch. Honestly it was an easy fix but kind of a bummer, especially about the coin tray. Hope this helps.

This is given to my little 4-year-old and he gets to lock away his monopoly money as we go along the house chores and for his behavioral education. I've begun to teach him the concept of money so he understands why we work, how we spend, and what do we do to save up. This little lock box is his as the piggy bank so he can use the "money" at home to get what he wants, and he'll need to be constantly doing his duty/chores to gain more money. Anyways, this scheme works well; and he learns quickly.The box itself is a highly quality made metal box with precise closure and smooth locking operation. The lock box is small to carry and if it's not being used by my little kid; I think if he ever runs a charity event out there, he can benefit a lot by using this box for money collection. We're happy with what the box does for us at this time. 5-stars.
