Great For Secure and Easy Pistol Storage and Access! I like the option of having three (3) means of access: biometric, digital code, and key. Works great as a nightstand storage option. I have one installed in my RV. Very discreet, easy programming and operation. The internal LCD light makes for easy retrieval of contents at night or in poorly lit environments.

I've had it in my truck for about a year and use it daily. I used 1/4 20 nutcerts and stand off spacers to bolt it down. It holds very tight. The biometric part can be a pain sometimes so I just punch the code in. Battery life is great lights are bright enough and it pops open fast. Dont just leave your piece under the seat and hope nobody steals it. Be responsible and install a safe.

In these days of rampant crime, corruption, & evil one needs defense NOW not a minute later. I live in a pretty good area for now but looking at the stories across the world I realize The only one that comes to your defense is you. When you have children or may have children visiting you must consider their need to explore. I think of this box as a fire extinguisher - there but mostly not needed. When it is needed the need probably is urgent. I have come to distrust everyone because of the shear volume of lies everywhere. This product is in that category of urgent need mostly overlooked in daily life. I am so greatly impressed with this product but more importantly the people that stand behind it. They "HAVE YOUR BACK"! It is well made, does what you want but more importantly they are there to solve problems. You should consider their products because problems do happen but this company is honorable and their engineering is top notch!

I have multiple biometric safes (mostly Vaultec)that function without issue. I really wanted to try this out and see if the “vein “technology was as good as stated in the add. Initially it worked about 85% of the time, however now, about a 18 months later, it works less than 20% of the time, usually locking me out for multiple attempts. At this point, I basically keep in my trunk to transport arms to the range and just use the code or key.

I was supposed to get it tomorrow but it came a day early which was nice have to say it was package beautifully. Set up was very easy. Very heavy duty construction holds my Canik TP9SFX and mags and other things very well. Only wish it had thicker foam on bottom and any foam on the lid. Still giving it 5 stars as it is beautiful and sturdy. Love the finger vein recognition. Excellent safe for what I paid. Very happy with it. Great job maxsafe.

The MAXSafes Pro biometrics vein recognition lock handgun safe has proven to be a high-quality gun safe that is exactly as advertised. It operates faultlessly. I am impressed with the vein recognition lock; it is quick and easy. It is failsafe as long as you follow the directions; put your finger in all the way and down flat, not bent or on its side. The button and manual key lock also work as stated. The quality is top-notch, and the finish rugged and looks excellent, and it is well built and sturdy. I have had it going on a month and it has worked flawlessly. I commented on their website similar to the above info and added I would have liked a Security Cable included and they replied back that they were sending me one. I'm glad I disregarded the few negative comments as operator error or worse. And the shipping was quicker than I expected. I recommend this company and their product very highly. Look no further, you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for something that was durable and decent size with a biometric system built in. This checked off all the boxes. I built a HK P30L into what I call John Wick 2.0 and needed a safe that would accommodate size and keep it secure. The Vein biometric reader works flawlessly every single time and was easy to setup. The programmable touch pad was a breeze as well to set a combination to open.I was going to go with the other kind of handgun safes out there on the market but...I have issues with finger print readers and decided to try Max Safes Vein biometric reader and I cannot be more pleased with the purchase. If you are on the fence about purchasing this safe, don't think twice. Just get it and you will not be more pleased and have a piece of mind that your gun or valuables will safe and secure. The anti pry lid is awesome and very well made with the concave design.Also if have children, this is the safe that you will want to have in your home to keep your gun locked away and not worry about it being taken.

I had a fingerprint safe that had become unreliable and was looking for a replacement. I found the MAXSafe and, after reading a lot of reviews, decided to give it a chance.Here is a tip for setting up your fingerprints...take the key out of the safe. I left it in after opening the safe and, after cycling the lock several times while setting my fingers up, the safe would not lock. I watched the video on the website and saw that they removed the key immediately after opening the safe. I removed the key from mine and held the top closed while cycling the lock with my finger. I then opened and closed it and heard a satisfying click and verified that it locked.I had sent an email to customer support when I first experienced the problem of it not locking and received a response in less than 1/2 hour asking for more information. I had already resolved the issue by then but I wanted to share that their response was very quick (especially on a Saturday).It is now working flawlessly and I will update this review if anything changes but it feels and performs like a very well made product.
