I installed this on a typical 44-56mm tapered headset. Both races are split and don't have any significant play once installed. They rotate smooth and was a nice upgrade from the previous non-sealed bearings that came factory installed on my bike. The upper most piece has a rubber seal which is nice. I would recommend as a low cost alternative.
