Used the bearings, lockring and top cap with screw on an existing IS 42/52 headset. This package comes with all little bits and pieces including the ones for adapting to straight or tapered fork steerer. Very clever.The bearings don't seem to angular contact but do the job sufficiently. It is too early to tell but I didn't hear any grinding noise or felt a rough movement in the handlebar.The top cap screw is nice golden yellow and feels hard enough. That screw is often the one to strip so I will keep an eye out. For now this is a great headset for the price.

This headset bearing and star nut kit is well made. The bearings are sealed and smooth. All parts and machined well and fit together as they should. Good price too!
