Appears to be fairly well made although the actual guide part of it is not alloy, but some type of plastic. Sadly, the guide is not wide enough to accomodate the lateral movement of the chain that results from changing rear gears on my bike. It will either catch one side or the other. No amount of repositioning within the adjustments available can remedy.

For months if not the past year my chain has skipped off the bottom bracket of my ebike and lodged in between the pedals and the frame every time I went over a cerb or bump in the road. This has stopped. Litterally never happened once since I got this. Absolutely brilliant!

The fact that there isn’t a washer means when you tighten it up the screw goes through the plastic as there’s nothing to help retain it.
