But this one won't work on my bike. I can use it on another. That's the beauty of having a lot of bikes. This is pretty nicely constructed. Maybe I could Mickey Mouse my bike to make this one work I can use it till I get the right derailleur. I only need the large gear. But when I shift into the small gears in the back it pulls off the large gear onto the smaller ones in the front. And I believe if I sit this just for the front large gear it'll stay in place and not cross chain. So that's what I'll do until I get a different style

This shifter keeps my chain from coming off the front sproket, and is better than the plastic one I had that kept breaking

Not even two months owning. I’m not sure how it failed the bolt that adjusted the derailleur has failed. It got loose all suddenly and no matter what I do to tighten it just spins and spins any vibration would cause the derailleur to rub against my rear wheel.
