These are a nice set of outer sleeves for storing vinyl records. The thickness of the plastic is good and will protect the vinyl for years. These sleeves are important for storage and protect the vinyl covers from nicks and rips and keep them like new. And the records look nice on them too. Overall a very nice set of thick sleeves.

Nice, thick record sleeves. I wouldn't use them for the basic garage sale $1 records I usually pick up, but for anything of any value, these are perfect. I've only used a dozen so far, but they slip on easily and look great. Recommended!

Generally speaking, BCW makes good products as I have used them on trading cards. I've now tried outer sleeves from three manufacturers and while all the products will do the job, I like these the least. The main issue is the thickness. At 2 mil, these are 33% thinner than the others I have which are 3 mil thick. There is a difference in the way the three products feel. One one end of the scale, the best one feels vinyl-like and on the other end of the scale is something that feels closer to crinkly plastic. This one is somewhere in the middle. If you just open this product, you'd think it's a fine product and I'm sure it would probably do the job just fine (and it probably will). But when you have multiple products that you can test side-by-side, you can feel a difference. So while this is a fine product, there is better (imho) out there.

If you have a large and growing collection of LPs, keeping them dust-free after cleaning them is of paramount importance. What I do is clean and dry my LPs and then place the LP in a polypropylene protector, slip that into the album cover, and then place another propylene cover over the album jacket. That's where these 4-mil album covers come in. They are big enough to fit double albums (I've even checked to see if I could put two single albums in these protectors and you can).These BCW Polypropylene Vinyl Album Protectors come in a box that looks like an album (only a bit taller). Inside they are protected and kept dust-free in a cellophane-like bag that seals at the top. Be careful, this tears easily.The actual album protectors have a very slight blue cast to them, but not even close enough to affect the way your albums look. The protectors are thick; definitely, like armor for your treasured LPs. They are glossy and clear. I've purchased plastic album covers in the past that were slightly cloudy, which these are not.Also, these come at a good price. I've seen (and paid) around $20 for album protectors in the past for the same count and close to the same quality.I'm glad I got these album protectors.

I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE CARDBOURD PROTECTION SO THE RECORDS WOULD STAND BETTER. THE ARE PROTECTING MR RECORDS BUT THEY DO NOT STAN UP STRAIGHT AND I CAN NOT WRITE ON THE COVER,

To be clear, these sleeves are for the outside of your record jacket (not the sleeve for the record itself). To my surprise, these did not come with a funky plastic smell. The sleeves have a little extra room for most records and seem slightly larger than ones I see in the new & used record stores. I found one double record set that didn't fit but several other double record sets that did (tight fit though on the double ones that did fit.) Well known brand , no smell, and nice finish to them.
