For an adult, this fits great, adjusts easily, and hinges in the prefect spot to not restrict movement. Definitely too large for a child though. I can my 12 y/o son try it on, average size, and even when tightened to the max, it slide down his arm with each swing, so he will have to grow into it. When I tried it, fits me great!

This elbow guard is great! It fits both my 14 year old son and my 11 year old daughter. Just tried it on both to test sizing, but my son is the one that uses it. He plays travel ball and it has given him one less thing to worry about when he’s in the box. It flexes and moves with him well. He hasn’t been hit with a pitch yet in that spot so I can’t speak to how protective it is but it would definitely be better than just taking the hit with a bare arm.

This elbow guard is perfect for adults, but too big for kids. It provides a lot of protection and is easy to take on/off. The price is very reasonable, which is a plus.

The padding is very nice, and the coverage is great! It fits my son's arm very well and he's 10 years old. If you're looking to protect your little kiddo, definitely get one of these!

There are many different elbow guards and my boys who are playing ball were interested in getting some for more protection. We have one that is just the shield that you put over your elbow and we also wanted to try this type that straps to your arm and provide protection for the elbow and forearm. This is a very nice guard. The hinge at the elbow is smooth and the padding seems nice. It is a little thin but should still protect nicely. All stitching is good with no loose threads as well. The only down side we have it that the elastic on this is tight and those kids with larger arms will have trouble getting this on and not feeling tight or restrictive. Keep that in mind if shopping for a older child. Otherwise it works great.

I ordered the baseball elbow pad for my youth team to use. I was looking for something that would help the kids mentally not be afraid of the ball. I am having a little issue with some of the kids backing away and out of the batters box when the pitch gets thrown. I coach in a rec league and only get to work with my team for one practice per week and it's an hour long, so any little thing that may help, I'm all for it.This elbow guard has helped a little with taking some of the fear away, so it does help in that way for me. It fits all the kids on my 9-10 yr old team, but it is a little big on my smaller klkids. This elbow guard will protect just fine for younger kids as they don't throw very hard. I don't know how well it will protect for high school level and up, it's better than not having a guard but I would say you will still feel it if you get hit in this elbow guard.I do have an issue with this guard that is a bit irritating, and it's with the velcro . It's nice that the Velcro sticks strongly so it doesn't come loose and fall off, but the Velcro is way to strong. The kids can't pull the Velcro tab loose to take it off. So I have to keep taking it off each time for them, and it takes some muscle to pull the Velcro apart. Hopefully it eases up overtime because it's to difficult for me t coach the game when I have to keep taking the time to help the kids get the guard off, it slows the game down. I also think it's a little overpriced for a youth size item.
