It worked ok. After the time you spend getting it out, setting it up, then breaking it back down for cleaning it’s almost easier to chop with a knife. It is very durable and dishwasher safe which is nice. It does take up additional storage space.

Ha ha don’t recommend taking your frustration on chopping vegetables, that snag b down lol can be a bit tough and ended up breaking the bottom. Note I have to smash down carefully. Other than that best thing ever since sliced bread!

It's sturdier than I expected, and has good capacity. I chose this one because of the storage containers for the blades, and I'm quite pleased with my choice. There is a warning that comes with it that "these blades are very sharp". BELIEVE IT. Do not attempt to just push things through with your hand!! The blades are so sharp that it takes a second to even realize that you're bleeding. There are already plenty of us with finger wounds, and you don't need to join us.Used properly, however, the sliding cuts are basically perfect! The chopper has a bit of a learning curve, but it's quite nice, too.Cleaning is really easy, too, thanks to the weird little fork thing that comes with it. It can pull scraps out of all the harder to reach parts easily.All in all, I am extremely happy with it!

I was surprised to find out that the blade pieces come in plastic storage bins of their own, and they fit inside the main bin. The blades are sharp, it's easy to understand and use. The pieces can go in the dishwasher, but the instructions say to dry the blades immediately and to not let them air dry, so I'm worried about rust.

Wife does a lot of canning and she says that it works perfectly chopping and slicing everything as needed. Saves her a lot of time in preparation. Clean up can be a little troublesome at times but still well worth the price.

In the past I have always chopped vegetables for dinner by hand. Not only did this take awhile but also I would cut myself from time to time. I decided to get one of these to hopefully speed up the cooking process and be safer. It has proven to be both. It has definitely sped up the time I spend cooking, since I chipped the veggies so fast today I was able to spare some time to write this review! It is easy to use, clean and compact enough in my small kitchen to store. It has a variety of plates that are super easy to change and install. It has dicers and slicers to chopper, shredder and grade! It does come with a safety guard which has been extremely helpful. Overall great purchase.
