18-12 would be ideal, but 18 gauge or smaller you'd have to solder. These are thick enough, worst case I add some solder to the blade when I solder the wires. I'll be using 14 gauge wire for my application so these are ideal for the price of 6.5 cents each. I will be buying these again for my manufacturing needs in Detroit.Thanks

This worked out great for my Quicko soldering station that connects via Milwaukee M18 battery. These connectors work out great because they have a locking tab that prevents them from getting pushed out once locked in.
