Ordering hooks from overseas is always a gamble--sometimes you get hooks that are just lame or poorly designed. I needed to restock my sunfish hook supply, and usually use Eagle Claws from Wally world, but seems they're always difficult to find in BAITHOLDER at size 8 or 10.After looking closely at the pictures, I ordered the size 12 baitholders. I like a small hook to catch the live bream to use as catfish bait. Baitholder style has the little ridges on the shank of the hook, to help keep your worm on there. Smooth shank hooks allow the worm to bunch up more easily and come off way more easily. It's surprising how much better a baitholder hook is when worm fishing. These hooks did not disappoint! They have the familiar shape that I trust for fishing little red worms and corn or bread. They are very light wire, but that's perfect, you're not catching tuna with little hooks like these. I definitely like light wire so that if I get hung in a tree limb, underwater obstacles, even with 6lb line, I can straighten out the hook and get my bobbers/weights back. Now that I've found these particular hooks, I'll be ordering more in the 8 and 10 sizes as well.
