Finally I found a cornet mouthpiece that suits my B&H Sovereign cornet! Not cheap, but the gold rim does make a difference. Rich tone, responsive in all dynamics and easy upper range from day one, what more do you want? It works surprisingly well as a companion to my other favourite, a denis wick 3C trumpet mouthpiece on a yamaha xeno. After forty years of trying, I'll never buy another mouthpiece!!
