This works most of the time. However, if you hit the back of it (back of the dome and backboard) you can occasionally cause a "wedgie". The ball gets stuck and sometimes at such a bad angle you're forced to get up there and get it unstuck. That and paying $110 for a piece of hard plastic is the reason for 4 stars over 5. They need to redesign the back part of it.
