It's great. Good, clear punch. Not much to complain about. Looks to be durable too. Aquarian heads are great!

All was fine. A very good price, item was packed well, and they shipped it fast. For more vocal oriented gigs I used a 16 inch bass. I wanted a little less sustain, and a broader mix of tones, at a medium tuning. This head delivered. The drum has some punch, without a lot of ring. Yet the drum sounds full with an even mix of high to low tones. For a brighter sound use clear heads on the front, for a more darker/mellow tone then use coated heads on the front. For more highs use thin heads on front, and to bring out the lows use thicker/heavier heads on the front. For more punch use a ported front head.
