The original intercooler on my 2018 Chevy Equinox 1.5L apparently had been leaking oil for months. This new one fit with no issue. I was disappointed that it did not come with a new boost pressure sensor like I've seen on other intercoolers. Its a good thing I removed the sensor from the old cooler because I almost threw it out with the old intercooler. You have to take off the entire front end of the Equinox to get to the cooler. There's a couple of descent YouTube videos on the process. Getting to it is what took the most amount of time. Be sure to make sure the air tubes and fasteners on both ends of the new cooler snap on tight. I had to go back in the next day because the tube on the driver side wasn't seated properly and disconnected. You'll know if its not on right once you start the car because you'll get all kinds of weird DTCs, intake air problems, rough idling and reduced engine power. Wash your AC condenser and radiator while you're in there. Half of my AC condenser was covered in oil and soot because the old intercooler was leaking for quite awhile and the air flow had blown all of that oil and soot upward onto the AC condenser and it built up. This is not a process you want to do multiple times so take advantage of cleaning other things while you have the front end off.
